At Camp Wonder we believe that children thrive when learning experiences best match their interests. The homework* club portion of our camp not only helps deepen academic learning experiences for your child but provides a nurturing environment of support from quality educators! Whether your child is a budding artist, writer, chef, musician, activist, philosopher, and/or sports player Camp Wonder provides an array of fun socialization and learning activities that stimulate the mind and body within our expansive indoor and outdoor learning center. *To access the homework club portion of our camp, your child should bring their learning device, headphones, and any materials needed to complete homework.

In this time of uncertainly, we offer a safe and small group summer camp option for LA kids. Rest assured that when your child attends Camp Wonder the health and safety of our students and staff remains paramount!

Program Dates:

August 2020 through July 2021
(or until district schools resume in-person classes)

2pm to 6pm daily
(students can be dropped off any time after 2pm)

Camper Age Requirement:

All campers should be in grades K-5th, with limited enrollment for children in grades 6th-8th. Campers 12+ years of age shall serve as Junior Camp Counselors.

We understand your concerns and have partnered with a registered (RN) to best ensure a safe and healthy environment for our campers. We have diligently implemented procedures as mandated by the Public Health Department and Centers for Disease Control to ensure that the safety of our campers remains paramount. Our protective measures include but are not limited to: increased hand washing, temperature checks upon arrival, staff visibility face masks and face shields (when appropriate), social distance-student learning activities, small group activities, increased sanitation measures during operating hours (as well as nightly deep cleaning), and regular staff and parent mandatory health and safety training. Our expert RN will also serve as ongoing consultant during camp hours to best ensure that as a community we create a safe and healthy learning environment for all.

Things to Keep in Mind:

1. Camp Wonder provides an ideal and safe learning environment through small group sizes, limited enrollment, and carefully pairs students in activities according to their age and interests.
2. At Camp Wonder we do our best to accommodate children with special needs. Please advise us should your child require any physical, emotional, or learning accommodations so that we can best meet your child’s needs within our nurturing, inclusive environment.
3. Subject to enrollment approval, payment for services is due at the time of enrollment.
4. Checks, money orders, credit card or cash are acceptable means of payment. Make all checks or money orders payable to: Smile Pediatric Therapy & Diagnostics.
5. Refunds are not granted for any part of unused tuition, with no make-up dates.
